XION-Deal mit Fireflash Records + neue single „Zero Light“

Ich bin wirklich geflasht, in welchem Tempo Fireflash Records neue Bands verpflichten, die auch tatsächlich mächtig was auf dem Kasten haben. Der Kader von Fireflash Records ist von erstklassiger Qualität, auch wenn die Bands Underground-Status haben. Doch sie brauchen sich allesamt nicht verstecken! So ist es auch bei der sehr jungen schwedischen Band 𝐗𝐈𝐎𝐍. Das Quintett wurde 2022 gegründet, als einige der Mitglieder noch unter 18 waren, doch sie spielten bereits mit derselben Präzision und Energie wie etabliertere Metal-Bands. Davon könnt ihr euch gleich hier überzeugen.

Die Band freut sich über den Deal den Arsch ab und sie sind bald bereit ihr Album 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙚 rauszuknallen. Markus Wosgien wurde auf die Band aufmerksam gemacht wurde er erinnert sich:

Janne Mattsson vom Sweden Rock Magazine hat mir einmal gesagt hat, ich solle diese junge neue Band namens XION im Auge behalten. Das habe ich getan, und als sie ihre neueste Single veröffentlichten, war ich total begeistert, habe mich mit ihnen in Verbindung gesetzt und wir haben angefangen zu reden. Ich liebe es, neue Bands zu entdecken, Ideen auszutauschen und sie schließlich zum Leben zu erwecken. Freut euch auf die kommende neue Single und weitere Details zum neuen Studioalbum

Hier ist die Single „Wasteland Of Time“, die Markus so stark fand und ihn überzeugte XION unter Vertrag zu nehmen.

Auch live scheint die junge Band ne fantastische Show abzuliefern. Das Sweden Rock Magazine bewertete einen ihrer Live-Auftritte mit 9/10 Punkten, und ihr Auftritt beim „Sweden Rock Festival“ selbst erhielt eine Bewertung von 4/5. Im Jahr 2023 gewann die Band zudem den Musikwettbewerb „Imagine Sweden“.

Wenn man sich die Musik anhört, spielen die Jungs von 𝐗𝐈𝐎𝐍 bereits auf einem qualitativ hohen Level. Ihre äußerst präzisen und virtuosen musikalischen Fähigkeiten haben XION zu einem der interessantesten und vielversprechendsten Newcomer der schwedischen Metal-Szene seit vielen Jahren gemacht. Jetzt sind sie mit ihrer neuen Single „Zero Light“ am Start, welche einen Ausblick auf das kommende Album 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙚 gibt.

Der Song ist ne fetzige Speed-Rakete, die mit hochexplosivem Old School-Kerosin unterwegs ist. Eine megastarke Perfoirmance, die Bock auf mehr macht. Ich bin mir sicher, dass Markus von Fireflash Records auch hier wieder einen guten Riecher bewiesen hat.

I’m genuinely blown away by the pace at which Fireflash Records keeps signing new bands, and not just any bands, but acts with serious talent and real potential. The label’s roster is top‑tier in quality, even if many of the bands still operate in the underground. None of them have any reason to hide!

The same goes for the very young Swedish band 𝐗𝐈𝐎𝐍. The quintet was formed in 2022, when some of the members were still under 18, yet they were already performing with the precision and energy of far more established metal acts. You can see for yourself right here.

The band is absolutely over the moon about the deal, and they’re already gearing up to unleash their album 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙚. Markus Wosgien first became aware of the band, and he recalls:

Janne Mattsson from Sweden Rock Magazine once told me I should keep an eye on this young new band called XION. So I did — and when they released their latest single, I was completely blown away. I reached out to them, we started talking, and things took off from there. I love discovering new bands, exchanging ideas, and ultimately helping to bring them to life. Get ready for the upcoming new single and more details about the new studio album.

The young band also seems to deliver fantastic live shows. Sweden Rock Magazine rated one of their performances 9/10, and their appearance at the Sweden Rock Festival itself received a 4/5. In 2023, the band also won the music competition Imagine Sweden.

Listening to their music, it’s clear that the guys in 𝐗𝐈𝐎𝐍 are already performing at a remarkably high level. Their extremely precise and virtuosic musicianship has made 𝐗𝐈𝐎𝐍 one of the most interesting and promising newcomers in the Swedish metal scene in many years. Now they’re back with their new single “Zero Light”, offering a first glimpse of the upcoming album 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙚.
