Die kanadische Thrash-Metal-Band 𝐖𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊-𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐘 gibt die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Studioalbums 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙘𝙝 bekannt, das am 20. Februar 2026 über 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 erscheinen wird. Bei dem Album wurde die Band von einer Reihe von bekannter Gastmusiker unterstützt. Da wären Chris Poland, Stu Block, Amanda Kiernan, Mike Gilbert, Nikolay Atanasov, Scott Kroeker, Freddy DeMarco und viele mehr.

Um die Ankündigung des Albums zu feiern, veröffentlichen 𝐖𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊-𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐘 ihre durchschlagende und aufpeitschende neue Single und das offizielle Video zu „Apocalypse Of Hope“. Es ist ein Song, der die Missstände in der Welt ins Visier nimmt und gnadenlos mit ihnen abrechnet und zum Widerstand aufruft.

𝐖𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊-𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐘 zocken düsteren Thrash Metal der alten Schule. Sie verbinden die Aggression klassischer Thrash-Riffs mit einer modernen, klaren Produktion. Melodien sind ihnen nicht unbekannt und gehören selbstverständlich dazu, aber im Grunde liegt der Focus auf einen gnadenlos harten Auftritt. Dies passt zu der Abrechnung mit bestehenden gegenwärtigen gesellschaftlichen Ungerechtigkeiten. 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙘𝙝 ist eine intensive Sammlung von Songs, die sich mit Krieg, Trauma, Korruption, persönlichen Kämpfen und den unterdrückenden Kräften, die die moderne Gesellschaft prägen, auseinandersetzen. 

Die Single „Apocalypse Of Hope“ zeigt als erste Single, was hier Sache ist. Wilde Drums, scharfe Riffs und ein pulsierender Bass leiten den Song ein und entzünden ein zerstörerisches Feuer. Der Bass bleibt ein prägnantes Element im Song. Die Riffs sind einfach super fies und scheiden blutige Wunden. „Apocalypse Of Hope“ ist der letzte Track des kommenden Album und soll sozusagen ein letztes wichtiges Statement sein; ein Aufbäumen, ein lautstarker Aufruf die Hoffnung nicht sterben zu lassen, auch wenn die Zeiten dunkel und trostlos erscheinen.

Canadian thrash metal band 𝐖𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊 -𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐘 announces the release of their new studio album 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙘𝙝, which will be released on February 20, 2026, via 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀. The band was supported by a number of well-known guest musicians on the album, including Chris Poland, Stu Block, Amanda Kiernan, Mike Gilbert, Nikolay Atanasov, Scott Kroeker, Freddy DeMarco, and many more.

To celebrate the album announcement, 𝐖𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊 -𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐘 are releasing their powerful and stirring new single and official video for “Apocalypse Of Hope.” It’s a song that takes aim at the injustices in the world, mercilessly calling them out and urging resistance.

𝐖𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊-𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐘 play dark, old-school thrash metal. They combine the aggression of classic thrash riffs with modern, clear production. Melodies are not unknown to them and are naturally part of their sound, but basically the focus is on a mercilessly hard performance. This fits in with their reckoning with existing social injustices. 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙘𝙝 is an intense collection of songs that deal with war, trauma, corruption, personal struggles, and the oppressive forces that shape modern society.

“Apocalypse Of Hope” is the first single to show what this album is all about. Wild drums, sharp riffs, and a pulsating bass kick off the song and ignite a destructive fire. The bass remains a strong element in the song. The riffs are just super sharp and nasty and cause bloody wounds. “Apocalypse Of Hope” is the last track on the upcoming album and is intended to be a final important statement, so to speak; a rebellion, a loud call not to let hope die, even when times seem dark and bleak.
