Die britischen Rocker 𝐓𝐘𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆 melden sich endlich mit neuem Stoff zurück. Zwei Singles sind bisher erschienen. Die Band hat eine relativ lange Pause hinter sich, wie Gitarrist Robb Weir mit Schrecken feststellt:

Ich bin schockiert! Die letzte Single der Tygers erschien am 21. April 2023 … Kaum zu glauben: 2023! Aber ich verrate dir etwas, das noch schockierender ist … „Electrifyed“ ist die brandneue Single der „großen Katzen“. Wenn diese nicht deinen Sicherungskasten durchglühen lässt, dann tut es gar nichts!

Das ist eine vollmundige Ankündigung. Und wenn ich mir die Single „Electrifyed“ anhöre, dann wurde nicht zu viel versprochen. Die packende Single ist eine astreine Metalhymne mit allem, was es braucht. Und damit steigt die Spannung, was die Tiger noch alles auf ihrem Album raushauen werden, vor allem, wenn man den Kommentar von Sänger Jack Meille hört, in dem er den Entstehungsprozess beschreibt.

„Je härter, desto besser!“ Das war unser Mantra während des Songwritings und der Aufnahmen zu „Electrifyed“. Wir wollten die Freude daran wiederentdecken, von der gewaltigen Kraft eines harten Riffs angetrieben zu werden, ohne dabei jene melodische Note zu verlieren, die alle großartigen Songs der Tygers auszeichnet.

British rockers 𝐓𝐘𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆 are finally back with new material. The band has put a relatively long hiatus behind them. Two singles have been released so far. This is a fact, that guitarist Robb Weir notes with dismay:

I’m shocked! The last Tygers single was released on April 21st 2023… Can you believe that: 2023! I’ll tell you something even more shocking… “Electrifyed”, the brand new single from the big cats, is out… If this doesn’t blow the door off your fuse box, nothing will!

These words are a big promise. And listening to the single „Electrifyed“, it’s clear they haven’t overpromised. The gripping single is a top-notch metal anthem that delivers everything it should. It builds anticipation for what else the Tigers will unleash on the album, especially after hearing vocalist Jack Meille describe the creative process.

„The heavier, the better!” that was our mantra throughout the writing and recording of “Electrifyed”. We wanted to rediscover the pleasure of being driven by the powerful force of a heavy riff without losing that melodic touch all great Tygers songs have.
