Im Jahr 2021 veröffentlichten die schwedischen 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 ihr großartiges Werk 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙣 über das Label M-Theory Audio. Ich würde es mal als Heavy Doom Rock/Metal bezeichnen. Prägnante Riffs, krasse Solos, schöne Melodien, geiler Sänger mit geiler Atmosphäre. Was will man mehr? Ja nix eigentlich. Man fühlt sich sofort an der glorreichen 70’er und 80’er Jahre erinnert. Das Album ist ein echter Killer! Wer 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙣 noch nicht kennt, der sollte das schleunigst nachholen. Wer BLACK SABBATH geil findet, der wird auch 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 lieben. Es gibt auch noch Vinyl-Exemplare auf Bandcamp.
Der Schlusstrack auf diesem Album ist „Past The End of Time“. Auch wenn das Album nun schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, so bin ich außerordentlich froh, dass man sich noch entschieden hat diesen Song als Single zu veröffentlichen. Nicht zuletzt deswegen, weil man bei dem Song mit Tony Martin zusammengearbeitet hat. Ich mochte Tony als Sänger bei BLACK SABBATH und er macht auch bei „Past The End Of Time“ einen spitzenmäßigen Job, der hier in einem traumhaften im Duett mit Sänger Marcus Rubin brilliert. Ich hoffe natürlich, dass diese Singleauskopplung ein Zündfunken ist, der ein neues Album auf absehbare Zeit ankündigt.
Gitarrist Morgan Zocek war damals völlig aus dem Häuschen und zutiefst ergriffen. Er erinnert sich an das erste Mal, als er Tony bei einem Song von 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 hörte:
Ein Traum wird wahr … Tony Martin als Gastmusiker bei einem unserer Songs. Als ich seine Stimme zum ersten Mal in diesem Track hörte, habe ich vor Glück geweint. Der Einfluss seiner Zeit bei Black Sabbath ist sowohl für mich als auch für die Band immens. Und Tony gehört zu meinen fünf Lieblingssängern aller Zeiten.

In 2021, Swedish band 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 released their magnificent work 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙣 (Label M-Theory Audio). I would describe it as heavy doom rock/metal. Concise riffs, awesome solos, beautiful melodies, an amazing singer with an amazing atmosphere. What more could you want? Nothing! This sound immediately takes you back to the glorious 70s and 80s. The album is a real killer! If you don’t know 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙣 yet, you should check them out ASAP. If you love BLACK SABBATH, you’ll also love 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒. The final track on this album is “Past The End of Time.” Even though the album is already a few years old, I am extremely happy that they decided to release this song as a single. Not least because they collaborated with Tony Martin on the song. I loved Tony as the singer for BLACK SABBATH, and he also does a fantastic job on „Past The End Of Time,“ which shines here in a fantastic duet with singer Marcus Rubin. Of course, I hope that this single release is a spark that heralds a new album in the near future.
Guitarist Morgan Zocek was completely ecstatic and deeply moved at the time. He remembers the first time he heard Tony in a song by 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒:
A dream come true… to have Tony Martin guest on one of our songs. The first time I heard his voice on this track, I cried with happiness. The influence of his time in Black Sabbath is immense on both me and the band. And Tony is one of my top five vocalists of all time.
