Da flattert noch eine schöne Nachricht zur Weihnachtszeit herein. Die britische Rockband 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐒 hat einen Deal mit 𝙈𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙋𝙊𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙎 gemacht. Die fünfköpfige Truppe besteht aus fünf versierten Musikern, die zum großen Teil in den 80’er Jahren in die musikalischen Szene eingetaucht sind und sehr aktiv waren. Da wären Sänger Mick White, Gitarrist Ray Callcut, Bassist Rob Naylor und Schlagzeuger Daz Lamberton. Keyborder Pete Lakin begann seine Laufbahn Anfang der 2000’er. Keine einfache Zeit für Rock-und Metalbands.
Seit der Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙏𝙞𝙙𝙚 Ende 2022 hat sich die Band mit grandiosen Live-Auftritten schnell einen Namen in Großbritannien und Europa gemacht. Also wer das Album noch nicht kennt, der muss das schleunigst nachholen, denn 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙏𝙞𝙙𝙚 ist ein hochklassiges Rockalbum mit super Songs. Viel Melodie, viel Gefühl mit einer guten Portion Power vereinen sich zu einem echten Hörgenuß. Hier eine Kostprobe mit der Single „What Do You Know About Love“.
Der frische Deal mit 𝙈𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙋𝙊𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙎 wird natürlich ein Vorzeichen dafür sein, dass 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐒 ein neues Album im Angebot haben. Darüber ist noch nichts nächeres bekannt, aber ich denke, dass wir zu Beginn des Jahres neue Infos dazu bekommen werden. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr gespannt und freue mich sehr darauf.
Die letzte Single „If This Is It“ wurde vor einem Jahr veröffentlicht. Eine knackige Nummer in bester AOR-Rock Manier mit viel Power und Drive. Sänger Mick hat schlichtweg eine fantastische Stimme. Bei dem Song stimmt einfach alles! Eine fantastische Nummer!

UK rock band 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐒 has signed a deal with German label 𝙈𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙋𝙊𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙎. The five-piece band consists of five accomplished musicians, most of whom entered the music scene in the 1980s and were very active. They are singer Mick White, guitarist Ray Callcut, bassist Rob Naylor, and drummer Daz Lamberton. Keyboardist Pete Lakin began his career in the early 2000s. Since the release of their debut album 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙏𝙞𝙙𝙚 at the end of 2022, the band has quickly made a name for itself in the UK and Europe with spectacular live performances. So if you’re not yet familiar with the album 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙏𝙞𝙙𝙚, you need to catch up quickly, because it’s a high-class rock album with great songs. The new deal with 𝙈𝙀𝙏𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙋𝙊𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙎 is, of course, a sign that 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐒 will be releasing a new album. No details are known yet, but I think we’ll get more information at the beginning of the year. In any case, I’m very excited and looking forward to it.
The last single, „If This Is It,“ was released a year ago. It’s a crisp track in the best AOR rock style, with lots of power and drive. Singer Mick simply has a fantastic voice. Everything about this song is just right! Fantastic!
