𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃-𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙡

Ich möchte euch gerne 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 aus Belgien vorstellen, denn ihr musikalisches Konzept finde ich sehr interessant und hat mich angesprochen. Im Jahr 2023 brachten sie ihr Debüt Tribulations raus. Das musikalische Konzept hat als Fundament den Death Metal, aber die Band baut auf diesem Fundament ihr eigenes Konstrukt. Grundsätzlich erschaffen 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 eine düstere harte Musikwelt, in der sie sowohl mit extrem harten Auswüchsen aufwarten und finstere doomige Abgründe aufmachen, aber darüber hinaus mit melodisch melancholischen Zwischentönen versehen. Es lohnt sich hier durchaus mal in das Album Tribulations reinzuhören.

Aber die Band hat auch aktuelle Songs am Start. Drei Singles wurden in den letzten Wochen veröffentlicht und werden Teil der kommenden EP Revelations sein. Die Songs zeigen eine konsequente Bestätigung ihres musikalischen Ansatzes. Dabei hat natürlich eine weitere Verfeinerung ihres ohnehin schon handwerklich anspruchsvollen Sounds stattgefunden.

Der Gesang von Tine Vanmuysen spielt dabei eine herausragende Rolle, denn sie hat eine breite Range zu bieten, die der Musik einen emotionalen Reichtum beschert. Dunkle Growls, aggressive Screams bis hin zu cleanen Passagen sind Teil ihres reichhaltigen Repertoirs. Das finde ich schon ziemlich beeindruckend. Es ist wieder die Art von Musik, wo die Grundrichtung klar ist, aber man nie genau weiß, was einen erwartet. So entsteht eine unheimlich spannende Erfahrung. Hier ist der Song „Iskariot“!

Weiter geht es mit „The Rupture“, der gleich zu Beginn mit einem starken Groove auftritt. Die extremen Vocals von Tine sind geradezu spürbar. Wunderbar gelingt der Übergang in die melodische Schiene, der sich dann auch Tine anschließt. Das sind Gegensätze, die hier gekonnt vereint werden.

Ich komme zur ganz aktuellen Single „Mathemtical Design“. Das Tempo ist gemäßigt, die Riffs massiv, während die Leads fies reinschneiden und Unheil verbreiten. Die Vocals vervollständigen perfekt die bedrohliche Stimmung.

Alle drei Songs sind sehr gut gelungen, wobei „Iskariot“ mein Favorit ist, weil er für mich am meisten Dynamik entfaltet. Aber Abwechslung ist Trumpf und von daher sind auch die anderen beiden Songs „The Rupture“ und „Mathematical Design“ verdammt stark und erweitern gekonnt den musikalischen Spielraum. 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 sind eine höchst interessante Band, die ich weiter auf dem Schirm haben werde.

I’d like to introduce you to 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 from Belgium, as I find their musical concept very interesting and it really appealed to me. They released their debut, Tribulations, in 2023.

The band’s musical concept is rooted in death metal, yet they build their own unique structure upon that foundation. Essentially, 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 create a dark, heavy musical landscape. One that features moments of extreme intensity and opens up grim, doom-laden abysses, while also incorporating melodic, melancholic undertones. It is certainly worth giving the album Tribulations a listen.

But the band also has new songs in the pipeline. Three singles have been released in recent weeks and will feature on the upcoming EP Revelations. These tracks represent a consistent affirmation of their musical approach, while also reflecting a further refinement of a sound that was already technically sophisticated.

Tine Vanmuysen’s vocals play a very important role here, as she offers a wide range that lends the music emotional richness. Her diverse repertoire spans everything from dark growls and aggressive screams to clean vocal passages. I find that truly impressive. It’s the kind of music where the general direction is clear, yet you never quite know what to expect—creating a tremendously exciting experience. Here is the song „Iskariot“!

Next up is „The Rupture“, which kicks off with a powerful groove. Tine’s extreme vocals are practically palpable. The transition into a melodic style is executed beautifully, with Tine joining in as well—a skillful blending of contrasting elements.

I come to the very latest single, „Mathematical Design“. The tempo is moderate and the riffs are massive, while the leads cut in viciously and spread a sense of doom. The vocals perfectly complement the menacing atmosphere.

All three songs turned out really well, though „Iskariot“ is my favorite because, for me, it displays the most dynamic range. However, variety is key; consequently, the other two tracks—“The Rupture“ and „Mathematical Design“—are also incredibly strong and skillfully expand the band’s musical scope. 𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐃𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 are a fascinating band that I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on.
