Im Dezember wurde hier berichtet, dass die spanische Melodic-Death-Metal-Band 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 einen weltweiten Vertrag mit ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music unterschrieben hat! Jetzt mit der Veröffentlichung der dritten Single gibt es auch endlich mehr Informationen über das Cover Artwork, Tracklist und Releasedatum. Dazu weiter unten mehr mit Vorstellung der dritten Single „Threshold Of Hell“. Kommen wir zunächst zur ersten Single

„The Devil’s Own“!

Wie erwartet ist es eine knallharte Offenbarung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Melodisch geht es los, aber das dauert nur 20 Sekunden an, denn dann lassen 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 die Wildsau raus und es kommt zum gnadenlosen Angriff. 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 finden eine exzellente Mischung aus melodischer Auflockerung, sogar mit epischen Anstrichen im Solopart, und den brutalen Eskapaden.

Auch wenn Melodien den Sound etwas auflockern, wird gesanglich keine Gnade gezeigt. Sängerin Diva Satánica klingt bitterböse, so wie es sein soll. „The Devil’s Own“ ist die logische Entwicklung aus dem letzten Album 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚, welches schon echt stark war.

Sängerin Diva Satánica kommentiert zu dem Song:

Ich schrieb den Text während meiner letzten Südamerika-Tour mit einer anderen Band. Es war eine sehr intensive Zeit in meinem Leben, in der ich einige der schwierigsten Entscheidungen meiner Karriere treffen musste, und genau davon handelt der Song. Er gehörte von Anfang an zu unseren Lieblingssongs, weil er sich stark von unseren bisherigen Stücken unterscheidet: Er ist durch und durch böse, aber mit vielen wunderschönen Melodien.

𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 entfachen nun mit der neuen Single „The Outspoken“ das nächste vernichtende Feuer. Wenn diese beiden Singles die Richtung für das gesamte Album angeben, dann wird das neue Album ein echt brutaler böser Akt werden. Leider hält man sich immer noch bedeckt, was Details zum neuen Album angeht. Hoffentlich ändert sich das bald.

Es ist wie eine Hymne, die die Identität dieser Band definiert. Wir können vieles sein, aber wir werden niemals aufhören, ehrlich zu anderen Menschen und zu uns selbst zu sein. Es ist ein sehr kraftvoller Song, der über unsere eigene Identität als Band im Laufe der Jahre spricht.

Aktualisierung vom 16.03.2026

Mit der neuen Single „Threshold Of Hell“ gibt man nun endlich auch das Veröffentlichungsdatum, Tracklist und Cover Artwork bekannt. Am 12. Juni soll 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙊𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙 erscheinen. Bei der dritten Single gibt sich Fernando Ribeiro (Moonspell) die Ehre und 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 setzen ihre brutale kompromisslose Art weiter fort, jedoch gibt es hier einen Break, in welchem Gastsänger Fernando seine Vocals einfließen lässt. Und tatsächlich ist dies gut gelungen. Eine dystopisch melancholische Stimmung wird erschaffen und verleiht dem Song eine andere Form der Intensität.

Gitarrist Dani Arcos hat folgende Meinung zu dem Song:

Ich finde, es ist der gelungenste Song des Albums. Wir haben wirklich hart daran gearbeitet, sowohl musikalisch als auch in Bezug auf die Soundeffekte, die Zusammenarbeit mit Fernando Ribeiro… und er hat auch einen tollen Groove.

Sängerin Diva Satanica fasst die Aussage des Songs kurz zusammen:

Es ist ein Antikriegslied, das die Geheimnisse menschlichen Verhaltens seziert und die Frage aufwirft, warum wir uns scheinbar überhaupt nicht weiterentwickelt haben und immer wieder dieselben Fehler der Vergangenheit begehen.

In December, we reported that the Spanish melodic death metal band 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 had signed a worldwide contract with ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music! Now, with the release of their third single, we finally have more information about the cover artwork, tracklist, and release date. More on that below, including an introduction to the third single, „Threshold Of Hell.“ But first, let’s talk about the first single.

„The Devil’s Own“

As expected, it’s a no‑holds‑barred revelation that leaves nothing to be desired. It starts off on a melodic note, but that lasts barely twenty seconds before 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 unleash the beast and launch a merciless assault. The band strike an excellent balance between melodic breathing space, even touching on something epic in the solo section, and their trademark bursts of brutality.

Even though the melodies add a bit of breathing room to the overall sound, there’s absolutely no mercy on the vocal front. Diva Satánica delivers a vicious, razor‑edged performance — exactly as it should be. “The Devil’s Own” feels like the natural next step after the band’s previous album 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚, which was already a remarkably strong release.

Singer Diva Satánica comments on the song:

I wrote the lyrics while being on my last tour in South America with another band. It was a very intense period of my life when I had to take some of the hardest decisions in my career, so it speaks about that. It was one of our faves since the beginning because it’s very different from what we’ve done so far: it’s pure evil but with lots of beautiful melodies.

It’s like a hymn that defines the identity of this band. We can be many things, but we will never stop being honest with other people and with ourselves. It’s a very powerful song that speaks about our own identity as a band over the years.

UPDATE from 16.03.2026

With the new single „Threshold Of Hell“, the release date, tracklist, and cover artwork have finally been announced. „Threshold Of Hell“ is set to be released on June 12th. The third single features Fernando Ribeiro (Moonspell), and 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 continue their brutal, uncompromising style, but with a break where guest vocalist Fernando contributes his vocals. And it works remarkably well. A dystopian, melancholic atmosphere is created, lending the song a different kind of intensity.

Guitarist Dani Arcos comments:

I think it’s the most complete song on the album. We worked really hard on it, both musically and in terms of sound effects, the collaboration with Fernando Ribeiro… and it also has a great groove.

Vocalist Diva Satanica adds:

It’s an anti-war song that dissects the mysteries of human behaviour and how it seems we didn’t evolve at all, making the same mistakes of the past.
