Weniger als sechs Wochen vor der Veröffentlichung ihres achten Studioalbums am 9. Januar 2026 kehren 𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐆𝐄 mit ihrer brandneuen Single „Playing Aces“ zurück. Die Band ist seit über 20 Jahren dabei und haben sich schnell als starke Kraft in der Musikwelt etabliert. Zur neuen Single erklärt Myles Kennedy folgendes:

Der Begriff „Playing Aces“ knüpft an die Glücksspielanalogie an, bei der man alles riskiert, unabhängig davon, wie oft man im Leben schon gescheitert ist. Es ist ein letzter verzweifelter Versuch, sich durchzusetzen.

Die Single „Playing Aces“ ist gleichzeitig auch das erste musikalische Statement vom kommenden selbstbetitelten Album 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚, das am 09. Januar 2026 erscheinen wird. Im Pressetext wird über das Album folgendes versprochen:

Das kommende Album enthält 12 brandneue Tracks, die einige der bisher überzeugendsten Werke der Band enthalten. Less than six weeks before the release of their eighth studio album on January 9, 2026, 𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐆𝐄 return with their brand new single „Playing Aces.“ The band has been around for over 20 years and has quickly established itself as a powerful force in the music world. Myles Kennedy had this to say about the new single:

The term ‘Playing Aces’ ties in with the gambling analogy of risking everything regardless of how many times you’ve failed in life. It’s a last-ditch effort to come out on top.

The single „Playing Aces“ is also the first musical statement from the upcoming self-titled album 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚, which will be released on January 9, 2026. The press release promises the following about the album:
