VIOLET – Single „Somewhere, Somehow“

𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 sind für mich mit ihrem Sound die perfekte Verkörperung des 80’er Jahre AOR-Rock. Das kuriose daran ist, dass die Band aus so jungen Menschen besteht, die diese Zeit gar nicht miterlebt haben. Vor einem Jahr haben sie das Album 𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖 veröffentlicht und ich hatte einen großen Spaß daran es zu hören und zu rezensieren. Die Gründe dafür sind folgende:

Es ist der Wahnsinn, was für ein geiles Gespür die Band für die Vibes der 80’er innehat und nach außen durch ihre Musik transportiert. Sie haben dabei ein hervorragendes Händchen für Harmonien, die sich sofort beim Hörer einschmeicheln. Der authentische Look der Band ist das Sahnehäubchen auf der Torte und rundet das ganze Konzept vorzüglich ab. Ich liebe auch die Rock-Pop-Songs der 80’er. Sie haben mich genauso begleitet wie der harte Metal. Wenn ich 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 höre, dann ist das für mich wie eine Reise in eine Zeit, mit der ich so viele schöne Erinnerungen an eine unbeschwerte Zeit verbinde.

Daher erfreut es mich außerordentlich, dass 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 vor Weihnachten noch mal ne neue Single gemacht haben. Damit sind unter dem Label METALAPOLIS RECORDS bereits zwei Singles erschienen, die eine Bereicherung für jede Weihnachtsplaylist sind. Ich erinnere hier noch einmal an die Single „Christmas Time“ von den 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐒, die ich hier vor einigen Tagen vorgestellt habe.

Jetzt genießt aber erst einmal die neue wunderschöne Power-Ballade „Somewhere, Somehow“ von 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓. Und danach zieht euch die beiden Alben 𝙄𝙡𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 und 𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖 rein für die volle Dosis 80’er. Einfach herrlich!

For me, 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 embody 80s AOR rock with their sound perfectly. The curious thing is that the band consists of such young people who didn’t even experience that era. A year ago, they released the album 𝙈𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖, and I had a lot of fun listening to it and reviewing it. The reasons for this are as follows:

It’s amazing how well the band captures the vibe of the 80s and conveys it through their music. They have an excellent sense for harmonies that immediately appeal to the listener. The band’s authentic look is the icing on the cake and rounds off the whole concept perfectly. I also love the rock-pop songs of the 80s. They accompanied me just as much as hard metal did. When I listen to 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓, it’s like a journey back to a time I associate with so many wonderful memories of a carefree era.

That’s why I’m extremely pleased that 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓 have released another new single before Christmas. This means that two singles have already been released under the METALAPOLIS RECORDS label, both of which are a great addition to any Christmas playlist. In this case, I would like to remind you once again of the single “Christmas Time” by 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐒, which I presented here a few days ago.
