Jetzt gibt’s mal was richtig geiles auf die Lauscher! Wie so oft war ich auf der Suche nach neuem Material für die Playlist „METALHEADs New Stuff“, als ich über 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 stolperte. Ein kurzer Klick, ein paar Sekunden später und ich musste gedanklich bereits in Deckung gehen. Was zur Hölle ist das bitte für ein geiler Thrash Metal?

Natürlich wollte ich sofort wissen, wer hinter diesem akustischen Frontalangriff steckt. Also ein wenig recherchiert und schnell war klar: 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 kommen aus Südkorea und haben vor Kurzem ihr Debütalbum 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 auf die Metal-Welt losgelassen.

Was soll ich sagen? Das Jahr 2026 hat uns bereits mit einer ganzen Reihe starker Thrash-Metal-Veröffentlichungen versorgt. Wenn ich euch nun auch dieses Album dringend ans Herz lege, dann hat das einen guten Grund. 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 ist ein Thrash-Metal-Tornado! Für mich liefern 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 hier ein Paradebeispiel dafür ab, wie eine vernichtende Vision von Thrash Metal anno 2026 klingen kann:

Aggressiv, präzise und vernichtend!

Wer hätte gedacht, dass meine Thrash-Überraschung des Jahres aus Südkorea kommt? Ich jedenfalls nicht. Doch 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 haben mich komplett weggeblasen. Je öfter ich mir 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 anhörte, desto mehr Details offenbarten sich. Dieses Album wächst nicht nur mit jedem Durchlauf, es zündet auch immer neue Sprengsätze. Wo soll ich anfangen? Hier explodiert gefühlt an jeder Ecke etwas.

Verabschiedet euch von Clean-Gesang und anderen versöhnlichen Tönen. Hier geht es derart kompromisslos zur Sache, dass euch die Haare zu Berge stehen und der Nacken keine Sekunde zur Ruhe kommt. Das ist Thrash Metal in höchst aggressiver Form: unnachgiebig, gnadenlos und stets auf Angriff gepolt. Dieser Sound nimmt euch nicht an die Hand, sondern reißt euch mit voller Wucht mit. Aufgeben ist keine Option!

Jetzt habe ich so lange rumgeschwafelt und ihr fragt euch sicher, wann ich mal zu Potte komme und etwas zu den Songs erzähle. Okay… dann lasst uns anfangen. Anschnallen und ab geht’s!

Der Opener „Perishable Gears“ wird euch direkt in Stücke reißen. An diesem Song passt einfach alles. Bereits das Intro baut Druck auf, bevor die Band endgültig den Zünder betätigt. Die Drums prügeln alles nieder, während die messerscharfen Riffs den Frontalangriff mit voller Wucht eröffnen. Doch damit nicht genug: Die giftigen Vocals setzen dem Ganzen die Krone auf und machen den Song zu einer kompromisslosen Thrash-Metal-Attacke.

𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 verneigen sich vor den großen Thrash-Metal-Traditionen vergangener Jahrzehnte, katapultieren deren rohe Energie jedoch mühelos in die Gegenwart. Sie modernisieren den Sound nicht, indem sie ihn verwässern, sondern indem sie seine Stärken weiter intensivieren. Es ist schwer, dieses Album in Worte zu fassen, aber 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 haben hier etwas verdammt Besonderes erschaffen. Die Reife, das Songwriting und die Konsequenz, mit der die Band ihre Vision verfolgt, würde ich eher mit einem etablierten Act als mit einem Debütalbum verbinden.

Alles an diesem Album ist grandios!

Die Produktion passt hervorragend zum Sound 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑. Sie vermeidet glücklicherweise einen zu polierten Glanz und bringt stattdessen die technische Präzision und Wucht von 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 mit voller Kraft zur Geltung. Das Drumming arbeitet dabei mit beeindruckender Präzision, feuert gleichzeitig aber Salve um Salve aus allen Rohren. Auch an der Gitarrenfront gibt sich die Band keinerlei Blöße. Die prägnanten Riffs fräsen sich durch den Sound, während die herausragenden Soli immer wieder für feurige Begeisterung sorgen, weil sie sich jeglichem Standard entziehen und oft herrlich crazy klingen. Die infernalischen Vocals befeuern die musikalische Schlacht zusätzlich mit einer Intensität, der man sich kaum entziehen kann.

Die technischen Fähigkeiten sind also sehr beeindruckend. Was 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 hier abliefern, bewegt sich auf einem außergewöhnlich hohen Niveau. Hört euch nur einmal „Perpetual Pain“ an und ihr werdet sofort verstehen, was ich meine. Allein der fantastische Solopart ist eine echte Offenbarung. Da bleibt euch die Spucke weg! Achtet darüber hinaus im gesamten Song auf die Gitarrenarbeit und die wirbelnden Drums. Dort offenbart sich die ganze Klasse dieser jungen Musiker.

Fazit

𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 haben mit 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 ein Thrash-Metal-Debüt veröffentlicht, das seinesgleichen sucht. Nichts an diesem Album klingt nach einem Erstlingswerk. Stattdessen schlägt die Band mit einer Wucht zu, die nicht nur technisch beeindruckt, sondern auch durch außergewöhnlich starkes Songwriting überzeugt. Die Songs sind ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie kompromissloser und mitreißender Thrash Metal im Jahr 2026 klingen kann, ohne dabei die Seele und den Geist der großen Klassiker zu vergessen.

𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 ist ein gnadenloser Angriff, der viele andere Thrash-Metal-Veröffentlichungen alt aussehen lässt. Für mich sind 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 die Überraschung des Jahres. Pflichtprogramm für jeden Thrash-Fan! Dafür zücke ich ohne jede Zurückhaltung die Höchstwertung von 10 Punkten. Und wenn die Band dieses Level halten kann, werde ich das auch in Zukunft noch öfter tun. Absolute Hochachtung vor dieser jungen Band!

Now here’s something seriously brutal for your ears! As so often, I was hunting for fresh material for the playlist METALHEADs New Stuff when I stumbled across 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑. One quick click and a few seconds later I was already looking for cover. What the hell kind of killer thrash metal is this?

Naturally, I wanted to know who was behind this acoustic frontal assault. So I did a bit of digging, and it quickly became clear: 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 hail from South Korea and recently unleashed their debut album 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 upon the metal world.

What can I say? 2026 has already blessed us with a whole host of outstanding thrash metal releases. So if I’m urging you to check out this album as well, there’s a very good reason for it. 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 is a full-blown thrash metal tornado! To my ears, 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 deliver a textbook example of what a devastating vision of thrash metal can sound like in 2026:

aggressive, precise, and utterly devastating!

Who would have thought that my thrash metal surprise of the year would come from South Korea? Certainly not me. Yet 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 completely blew me away. The more often I listened to 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚, the more details revealed themselves. This album doesn’t just grow with every spin, it keeps detonating new explosive charges along the way. Where do I even begin? It feels like something is blowing up around every corner here.

Say goodbye to clean vocals and any other conciliatory tones. This is uncompromising thrash metal at its most ferocious, the kind that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and keeps your head banging without a second of rest. This is thrash metal in its most aggressive form: relentless, merciless, and permanently locked onto attack mode. This sound doesn’t take you by the hand, it grabs you by the throat and drags you along at full force. Giving up is not an option!

I’ve been rambling long enough, and you’re probably wondering when I’ll finally get down to business and talk about the songs. Alright then… let’s get this started. Buckle up and here we go!

The opening track „Perishable Gears“ will tear you to pieces right from the start. Everything about this song is spot on. The intro alone builds an incredible amount of tension before the band finally lights the fuse. The drums pummel everything into submission while razor-sharp riffs launch a full-scale frontal assault with relentless force. But that’s not all: the venomous vocals put the finishing touch on the carnage, turning the track into a completely uncompromising thrash metal attack.

𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 pay tribute to the great thrash metal traditions of decades past while effortlessly catapulting their raw energy into the present day. They don’t modernize the sound by watering it down, but by amplifying its greatest strengths. It’s hard to put this album into words, but 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 have created something truly special here. The maturity, songwriting, and unwavering commitment with which the band pursues its vision are qualities I would normally associate with an established act rather than a debut album.

Everything about this album is magnificent!

The production perfectly complements 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑’s sound. Thankfully, it avoids an overly polished sheen and instead allows the band’s technical precision and sheer power to hit with maximum impact. The drumming is remarkably precise, yet at the same time unleashes volley after volley with relentless force. The band is equally flawless on the guitar front. The razor-sharp riffs carve their way through the soundscape, while the outstanding solos repeatedly ignite moments of pure excitement, refusing to conform to convention and often sounding delightfully insane. The infernal vocals add even more fuel to the musical battlefield, delivering an intensity that is almost impossible to resist.

The band’s technical abilities are nothing short of impressive. What 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 deliver here is of an exceptionally high caliber. Just give „Perpetual Pain“ a listen and you’ll immediately understand what I mean. The phenomenal guitar solo alone is a true revelation and will leave you absolutely speechless. But don’t stop there. Pay close attention to the guitar work and the whirlwind drumming throughout the entire song. It is here that the full class and talent of these young musicians truly reveal themselves.

Conclusion

𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 have delivered a thrash metal debut with 𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 that is truly in a league of its own. Nothing about this album sounds like a first effort. Instead, the band strikes with a force that is not only technically impressive but also driven by exceptionally strong songwriting. These songs are a shining example of how uncompromising and exhilarating thrash metal can sound in 2026, while never losing touch with the spirit and soul of the genre’s great classics.

𝙆𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚 is a merciless assault that leaves many other thrash metal releases in the dust. For me, 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 are the surprise of the year. This is essential listening for every thrash metal fan! That’s why I’m handing out the full 10 out of 10 without a second thought. And if the band can maintain this level, I have no doubt I’ll be doing the same again in the future. Absolute respect to this young band!
