𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐔 haben sich aus der mongolischen Steppe heraus mit ihrem Sound einen ganz eigene Nische geschaffen, indem sie archaische Kehlkopfgesänge, Pferdekopfgeigen und donnernde Rock‑Riffs verbinden. Ihre Musik trägt den Atem nomadischer Kultur, vorgetragen mit durschlagendem Heavy Metal. Damit stehen 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐔 für eine Band, die Grenzen ignoriert und ihre eigene Identität in pure Energie verwandelt.
Wie sehr 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐔 über Grenzen gehen, haben sie vor vier Wochen mit der Single „Lost Soul“ bewiesen, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Sänger Jonny Hawkins von der sehr bekannten Alternative Rock/Metal-Band NOTHING MORE entstanden ist. Der hohe Gesang von Jonny kontrastiert zum dunklen Kehlkopfgesang, was aber wirklich gut funktioniert. Herausgekommen ist ein moderner energischer Rocksong, der mit Wucht einschlägt.
Ganz anders klingt dann die aktuelle Single „Grey Hun“. Der Song hat weniger moderne Attitüde und stampft mit treibendem Beat voran. Hier bekommt man traditionelle Sounds geboten, wobei die mongolischen Pferdekopfgeigen hier eine großartige Show liefern. Enkush sagt zu diesem Song:
„Grey Hun“ ist ein Song, der dazu ermutigt, sich einfach so wohlzufühlen, wie man ist. Alles begann mit der Komposition des Riffs, als ich mir einen Mann vorstellte, der auf seinem Pferd durch eine weite Landschaft reitet. Danach dauerte es eine Weile, bis wir den Song fertiggestellt hatten, da wir sichergehen wollten, die positive Botschaft des Liedes klar zu vermitteln.
Neben diesen beiden Songs wurden im Vorfeld noch die Songs „The Men“ und „The Real You“ veröffentlicht. Diese findet ihr am Ende des Berichts. Damit hat man schon mal einen guten Einblick auf das Album 𝙃𝙪𝙣, welches am 24. Juli via Better Noise Music erscheinen wird.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐔 have carved out a unique niche for themselves, rising from the Mongolian steppe with a sound that fuses archaic throat singing, horsehead fiddles and thunderous rock riffs. Their music carries the breath of nomadic culture, delivered with the force of uncompromising heavy metal. In doing so, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐔 embody a band that ignores boundaries and transforms its identity into pure energy.
Just how far 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐔 are willing to push those boundaries became clear four weeks ago with the release of “Lost Soul”, a collaboration with Jonny Hawkins, vocalist of the widely acclaimed alternative rock/metal band NOTHING MORE. Jonny’s powerful, clear vocals contrast sharply with the dark throat singing, creating a combination that works brilliantly. The result is a modern, high-energy rock song that hits with full force.
The current single “Grey Hun” takes a completely different direction. The song carries far less of a modern attitude and instead marches forward with a driving, stomping beat. Here, the band leans heavily into their traditional sound palette, with the Mongolian horsehead fiddles delivering an outstanding performance. Enkush says about the track:
„Grey Hun‘ is a song that encourages everyone to be comfortable with just being themselves. It started with composing the riff as I imagined a man riding his horse through a vast landscape,“ kommentiert Enkush. „From there, it took a while for us to finish the song because we wanted to make sure to clearly communicate the positive message of the song.
In addition to these two tracks, the songs „The Men“ and „The Real You“ were released beforehand; you can find them at the end of this report. They offer a good preview of the album 𝙃𝙪𝙣, which is set for release on July 24 via Better Noise Music.
