𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 stammen aus Dänemark und bewegen sich im Spannungsfeld aus groovigem Modern Death Metal und old‑schooliger Brutalität. Die Band setzt auf druckvolle Riffs, wuchtige Rhythmen und eine klare Vorliebe für apokalyptische Themenwelten. Ihr Sound kombiniert moderne Groove‑Elemente mit klassischer Death‑Metal‑Härte.

Im Jahr 2022 haben sie ihr Debüt Spawn Of Tomorrow (noch ohne Label) veröffentlicht, was mit acht Songs schon für mächtig Wirbel gesorgt hat. Der wuchtige rifflastige Sound wird mit einer fetten Produktion intensiv unterstützt. Spawn Of Tomorrow ist auf jeden Fall ein Album, das Eindruck macht.

Am 15. Mai erscheint die Mini‑EP 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 über das dänische Label Emanzipation Productions. Die drei Tracks wirken wie eine deftige Vorspeise für einen möglichen neuen Longplayer, der vermutlich noch in diesem Jahr folgt. Ich würde mich darüber sehr freuen, denn die beiden aktuellen Singles „Judgement“ und „Ruins Of Babylon“ hauen mich regelrecht um.

„Judgement“ entfesselt eine eruptive Energieladung, die alles niederbrennt, was sich ihr entgegenstellt. CROWN THE BEAST halten an ihren Markenzeichen fest: wuchtige, bodenerschütternde Groove‑Parts verschmelzen mit gnadenlosen Tempo‑Salven zu einem Sound, der wie ein Sturm aus Stahl über den Hörer hinwegfegt.

„Ruins Of Babylon“ wirkt zu Beginn fast kontrolliert, als würde die Band den Sturm noch zurückhalten. Doch nach dem düsteren, unheilverkündenden Intro reißen 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 alle Schleusen auf. Was folgt, ist ein entfesselter tempogeladener Ausbruch, eine Kaskade aus Groove, Gewalt und Chaos – ein Ausnahmezustand, der sich unaufhaltsam über den Hörer ergießt. Die Breaks sind nicht minder vernichtend und treffen wie präzise platzierte Nackenbrecher. Ein Song wie eine Brandbombe, geschaffen dafür, Moshpits in Sekunden zum Überkochen zu bringen.

Mit dem dritten Track huldigt man der Band Six Feet Under, indem man den Song „Human Target“ mit einem Cover geehrt hat. Ein Cover, der bewusst nahe am Original bleibt, aber nun mit der markanten massiven 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓-Durchschlagskraft intensiviert wurde.

𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 hail from Denmark and operate in the tension field between groovy modern death metal and old‑school brutality. The band relies on crushing riffs, heavy rhythms, and a clear affinity for apocalyptic themes. Their sound fuses modern groove elements with classic death‑metal ferocity.

In 2022, they released their debut Spawn Of Tomorrow (still without a label), an eight‑track record that immediately caused quite a stir. Its heavy, riff‑driven sound is powerfully reinforced by a massive production. Spawn Of Tomorrow is, without question, an album that leaves a lasting impression.

On May 15, the mini‑EP 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 will be released via the Danish label Emanzipation Productions. The three tracks feel like a hefty appetizer for a potential new full‑length, which will hopefully follow later this year. I’d certainly welcome that, because the two current singles, “Judgement” and “Ruins Of Babylon”, absolutely blow me away.

“Judgement” unleashes an eruptive surge of energy that burns down everything in its path. 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 stay true to their trademarks: massive, ground‑shaking groove sections merge with relentless bursts of speed, creating a sound that sweeps over the listener like a storm forged from steel.

“Ruins Of Babylon” initially feels almost restrained, as if the band were still holding the storm back. But after the dark, ominous intro, 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 tear every barrier open. What follows is an unleashed, speed‑driven eruption — a cascade of groove, violence, and chaos, a full‑blown state of emergency pouring relentlessly over the listener. The breaks are no less devastating, hitting like precisely aimed neck‑breakers. A track like a firebomb, designed to ignite mosh pits within seconds.

With the third track, the band pays tribute to Six Feet Under by covering their song “Human Target.” It’s a rendition that deliberately stays close to the original, yet gains a new level of intensity through the unmistakable, massive CROWN THE BEAST punch.
