SONS OF ETERNITY – Single „Forever“

Die deutsche Band 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 wird am 27.03.2026 ihre neues Album 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 über Massacre Records veröffentlichen. Die Band konnte bereits mit ihrem Debüt 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 im Jahr 2023 zeigen, dass sie vorzügliche Musik machen. Beim Hören war schnell klar, dass erfahrene Musiker hinter der Band stehen. Die Songs waren solide ausgearbeitet und handwerklich gab es auch nix zu meckern. Alles wirkte gut ausbalanciert, vielleicht auch zu gut ausbalanciert, denn ich hatte das Gefühl, dass man eher auf Nummer sicher gegangen ist und im Gesamtbild war mir alles zu harmonisch und weniger fordernd, so dass klare Höhepunkte nicht im Kopf hängen blieben. Die Songs hatten teilweise mehr Hardrock- als Metal-Vibes.

Nun ist die neue Single „Forever“ draußen und zumindest hier klingt das Ganze schon forscher und druckvoller, was man direkt von Beginn an deutlich spürt und dem Metal deutlich besser widerspiegelt.

Man darf also gespannt sein, was 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 nun alles auf ihrem Album gezaubert haben. Im Pressetext ist sogar von thrashigen Ansätzen beim Titeltrack „Human Beast“ die Rede und mit „When Fantasy Dies“ soll es eine kraftvolle Ballade geben. Sogar von progressiven Nuancen wird bei einigen Songs gesprochen. Das Cover Artwork versprüht jedenfalls schon eine ziemlich düstere bedrohliche Atmosphäre, was vielleicht auch einen Ausblick auf die Stimmung der Songs geben könnte.

The German band 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 will release their new album 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 on March 27, 2026 via Massacre Records. With their 2023 debut 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, the band already proved that they are capable of crafting excellent music. It quickly became obvious that seasoned musicians were at work here: the songs were solidly written, executed with skill, and left nothing to criticize on a technical level. Everything felt well balanced – perhaps even too well balanced. At times, it seemed as if the band preferred to play in safe mode, resulting in an overall sound that was very harmonious but less demanding, with few standout moments that truly stuck in the mind. Some tracks even leaned more toward hard rock than metal.

With the release of the new single “Forever”, the band already sounds noticeably bolder and more forceful. That shift is evident from the very first seconds, giving the music a punchier, more assertive edge that reflects the metal side of 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 far more convincingly.

There’s every reason to be curious about what 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 have conjured up for their new album. The press release even mentions thrash‑tinged elements in the title track “Human Beast”, while “When Fantasy Dies” is described as a powerful ballad. Some songs are said to feature progressive nuances as well. The cover artwork already radiates a dark, menacing atmosphere, which might offer a hint of the mood the new material will explore.
